LUSANA officially became a certified B Corporation in October 2022. In order to become a B Corp, the brand was verified to meet B Lab’s high standards for social and environmental impact. This included a legal commitment to stakeholder governance, and a demonstration of accountability and transparency by disclosing the brand’s record of performance in a public B Corp profile.

There are five Impact Areas that LUSANA was assessed on during the verification process: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers.

At the heart of the LUSANA design process is a commitment to integrity with the intention to share quality pieces crafted with a low impact on the natural and built environment.

Following this, all of LUSANA’s mainstay fabrics are natural and biodegradable. The brand also secures traceable and certified fabrications where possible, while maintaining a local and centralized supply-chain based in Indonesia.
