The Melody is one of LUSANA's most recognised silhouettes — a strapless maxi dress with a crossover contrast bodice that creates elegant definition at the front. It has been offered in dozens of colourways across multiple seasons because its proportions are simply right: the bodice holds without straps, the A-line skirt moves with the body, and the full-length hem makes it effortlessly dressed. This is a dress designed to be worn, loved, and returned to.

Silhouette
Strapless A-line maxi dress with a crossover contrast bodice. The bodice panels create a natural V-shape at the front for flattering, confident definition. Full-length A-line skirt with a floor-grazing hem. Romantic and elongating — fitted through the bodice, relaxed and sweeping through the skirt.
Construction
Crossover contrast bodice panels for structure and visual definition. Invisible zipper at centre back for a seamless exterior finish. Shirring elastic at back bodice for comfort and flexible fit. The shirring provides ease without compromising the clean front silhouette. All interior seams are clean-finished.
How it fits
The Melody fits true to size. The crossover bodice construction holds securely without straps. We recommend fitting to your bust measurement as a priority — the shirring elastic at the back provides approximately 3–4cm of flex. The A-line skirt requires no additional ease through the hip. If you are between sizes or carry more volume in the bust, we recommend sizing up.
Our model Michelle is 5'10" (178cm) and wears a size S (US 4 / AU 8). Bust 91cm — Waist 73cm — Hip 100cm. On Michelle, the skirt falls to the floor with a gentle sweep at the hem.

100% European Flax Linen. Country of origin: Indonesia.
European flax linen is breathable, naturally temperature-regulating, and softens beautifully with washing. The natural slub and texture of the fabric gives the Melody its relaxed elegance — a quality that deepens the more it is worn. Machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Hang to dry. Iron on low heat if necessary.
